The Hurley Fire Department Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Hurley Fire Department is to
provide a range of programs and services designed to protect the lives and
property of the citizens and visitors of the City of Hurley from the adverse
effects of fires, rescues from motor or recreational vehicle crashes or exposure
to dangerous conditions created by either man or nature, and to provide these
services in a safe and efficient manner.
Our mission will be accomplished through two primary functions:
(1) Fire prevention, which will be achieved through public education and
enforcement of fire codes.
(2) Fire suppression, rescue services and emergency control, which is achieved
using well trained and highly skilled firefighters.
